Dancehall star Mr. Vegas is making strides with his latest album “Sweet Jamaica.” The double disc LP has landed on the Billboard reggae top ten chart, currently sitting at number seven and climbing.
This is Vegas first time on the top ten sin over a decade. His sophomore effort “Damn Right” debuted at number two in 2001, while his 1998 debut “Heads High” peaked at number five.
Sweet Jamaica was released on May 29th on Vegas’ label MV Music. The double disc album features a mixture of both reggae and dancehall songs, with collaborations Gyptian, Jovi Rockwell, Josey Wales, Luciano and Shaggy.
