Dancehall producer Rvssian may have chosen sides in Cardi B and Nicki Minaj beef.
On the latest episode of Queen Radio, Nicki Minaj claimed that Cardi B blocked 21 Savage from appearing on two songs with her. It turns out that one of the songs in question is Rvssian’s “Krippy Kush” with Bad Bunny and Farruko. Rvssian, who is best known in dancehall for producing some massive hits for Vybz Kartel, is the producer behind “Krippy Kush,” and he set the record straight on why 21 Savage didn’t appear on the song’s remix with Nicki Minaj. Travis Scott replaced the Atlanta rapper because of some scheduling conflicts.
“21 Savage was replaced by Travis Scott because 21 has an issue with his kid and couldn’t make krippy kush video… not because of anything else,” Rvssian told Cardi B in her DM. The Invasion of Privacy rapper then asked for his permission to post it on her Instagram feed, and he gave her the go ahead. “Look at God the producer of the Krippy Kush song ….Now leave me the f*** alone,” Cardi wrote.
I doubt that Nicki Minaj will be working with Rvssian again after this escapade. It’s also not clear what other song Nicki is claiming that Cardi stopped 21 Savage from appearing on. Nevertheless, someone is lying or clearly don’t have the full story, so we will just have to wait and see if 21 Savage will address the fiasco that he was tossed in.
As for the feud between the two leading ladies in hip-hop, it will clearly not end anytime soon. This can only mean more publicity for their music and increasing the ratings for Queen Radio, which is now the number one radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1. Nicki also invited Cardi on the show, but we all know that will not happen unless you get the secret service to guard the Queen.
