NBA YoungBoy says he is heading to high school to get his diploma.
The rapper who is also known as YoungBoy Never Broke Again made the announcement in a video posted on Instagram on Wednesday (Oct. 25). The “Untouchable” rapper is currently one of the most promising new rappers in the game, but he dropped out of high school at the 9th grade so he could focus on his blossoming rap career. He was also arrested for a robbery incident that authorities say he was involved where he was sent to a detention center.
YoungBoy has since been trying to clean up his image and even signed a new deal with Atlantic Records. Seems the label has been pushing him to enroll back in school and now he has a chance to get his high school diploma. “They accepted me in public school,” the rapper said. He then revealed that he will be attending the Scotlandville Magnet High School in his hometown Baton Rouge, LA. Since breaking onto the rap scene this year with his mega hit “Untouchable,” YoungBoy Never Broke Again has been doing very well while building a name for himself in a crowded field. At age 17, he has also got some cosign from some seasoned veterans in the game.
