Top Dawg Rubbish Claims TDE Tried To Sign Troy Ave

Top Dawg has stepped forward to address claims that TDE tried to sign Troy Ave.

During a recent interview, the “Nupac” rapper revealed that Kendrick Lamar made contact with him while he was behind bars and that prompted him to consider a move to the West Coast and seek a contract with TDE. “He said something to the effect of, ‘I see what you’re going through, man. Send my love,'” Troy Ave said. The NY rapper then said he asked his then manager Hovain to put his plan into action. “I said, ‘Yo, put the plan in action, man,” Ave added. “We gonna go out West when I come home and we gonna sign with TDE.'”

Head of TDE Top Dawg has since rubbished Troy Ave’s claims calling it “fake news.” In a era where fake news is a big thing, there isn’t a more fitted label. “4 the record… I’ve never had a convo with Troy ave or any 1 in his camp.. neither has KDot.. yesterdays story was fake news… #TDE,” Top Dawg wrote on Twitter. “There’s your answer…Now everybody kan stop calling and emailing me asking if it true…”

We haven’t heard anything from Troy Ave since.
