Former Miss Jamaica Universe, Yendi Phillips and dancehall star Chino McGregor have sparked rumors in recent weeks that they are dating.
While this claim remains a rumor, a very reliable source close to the Big Ship deejay told Urban Islandz that they are seeing each other, although not confirming that they are an official item.

“People are seeing them together and are talking, but they are both very private individuals,” the source said, requesting anonymity. “A lot of people wouldn’t think that a girl like Yendi would date Chino, but that’s because a lot of people don’t know Chino like that. Chino is a cool youth both inside and outside dancehall circles.”
In recent weeks the two has been spotted at various events in Kingston and Yendi also recently accompanied Chino and brother Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor to Belize for a show. Chino was last linked to reggae singer Alaine.
Both Yendi and Chino have not confirmed these rumors.
